Happy Friday!

In the absence of Mr Perkins due to illness, it is my pleasure to share this week’s news with you all.

Ukraine Appeal

If you haven’t already seen, the items that were donated by the Willow Tree community have now arrived safely in the Ukraine. The letters that the children wrote have been delivered and are now putting smiles on the faces of those in crisis. May I just take the opportunity to thank everyone again who brought in items to school. Your kindness and generosity was overwhelming and very gratefully received. If you would like to see the latest videos and updates about this journey (and other important school news), please follow our Facebook page.

Year 3 Easter Assembly

Congratulations to all of the Year 3 pupils who performed their Easter assembly for parents this morning. You made us all proud with your fantastic singing and story-telling. I shall be singing the ‘Spring Chicken’ song as I eat any chocolate eggs that the Easter bunny brings!

Class Photographs

The deadline for ordering your child’s class photograph is Wednesday 20th April. Please follow the link to the company website to place your order: You can find this information on the proofs that were given out.

Y6 Holiday Revision Club – Year 6

Miss Holdsworth has organised two SATs revision days during the holidays. These will be taking place on Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th April between 10am-2pm. School uniform does not need to be worn and lunch will be provided.

School Premises

To ensure the safety of all, please do not allow your children to ride their bike or scooter on any part of the school premises.

Polite Reminder

For health and safety reasons, dogs are also not permitted on school grounds (with the exception of guide dogs). This includes being carried despite the message that went out in the previous newsletter. Apologies for any confusion regarding this matter.
