Dear Parents & Carers,

Update from Mr Perkins

I hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend, even if the weather was typical Bank Holiday!  I have sent a separate letter out today which details some provisional changes to our school operation as we move through the next stages of the Government's Roadmap. It is important that you continue to wear masks when on the playground unless you are exempt as we are still under restrictions.  This week you should have received your letter about ParentPay.  If you have any questions, please contact the office.  It's fantastic to hear about the response so far - thank you for your support!

Have a lovely weekend

Well done to Year 2M for such fantastic attendance.

Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week (10th-16th May) and the theme is Nature. In classes, children will be taking part in some activities to help them recognise the importance of nature in supporting their mental health and wellbeing. We are encouraging you and your children to try and spend some time outdoors over the next week, whether that be going on a local walk to The Dream or a local park, going on a bike ride, planting some seeds, cloud watching from the windows or barefoot walking on the grass. You can even bring nature indoors by creating some artwork incorporating nature, growing an indoor plant or watching a nature documentary. If you do take part in anything, please message any images to our Facebook page so we can post it and share your activities! Thank you.

School Health Services

From Wednesday 12th May School Health Services will be in school from 8.30 to 9.30 for any parents to drop in and have a chat if there are any health issues concerning them. Just call into school reception if you would like to speak to someone.

Year 6 Leaver's Hoodies

School will be ordering Year 6 Leaver's Hoodies. You should have received your letter/order form this week. Hoodies are optional. If you would like your child to have one, please return the form to your class teacher with the £5 deposit (or full payment if you prefer) by Friday 14th May. Thank you.
