BREAKING NEWS

NURSERY PLACES AVAILABLE - FLEXIBLE HOURS- ½ DAYs  or  FULL DAYS .

Your child can stay for 5 mornings and the afternoons, if requested. Or you can do a mix of full days- we can be flexible to suit your needs. Please contact the school office. 01744 678730

Come and join us and give your child the best start at Willow Tree Primary School

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB!   3.15pm- 5.45pm.  School are offering an after-school clubs every night for children.  There will be a wide range of activities available e.g.- film and popcorn nights; art activities; sport events. Cost will be £8 and include a light snack for your child.  Please enquire at the office for more details.

Arbor

Please ensure you have set up your account on Arbor which has replaced ParentPay. If you have any problem please call at the office.

Start of the Day

A reminder – school starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.15pm. The children must be in their classroom at 8.45am.

Attendance

What YOU must do:

Try to telephone the school before 8.30am each day of your child’s absence.

Tell the school in advance, of any medical appointments and bring in appointment cards/letters.

If you are not sure whether your child is well enough to attend school, send them in anyway as they often perk up on arrival.

Have a backup plan for if your child misses transport, call on a family member, neighbour or friend.If you and your child are experiencing difficulties with school attendance then talk to us as a first step so we can help.

What WE will do:

Check your child’s attendance every day.

Send messages to check on your child in their absence.

Phone home to discuss your child’s attendance with you. Invite you into school for attendance meetings if we are concerned.

If we cannot establish a reason for absence, then we may make a welfare home visit

Toast at school

We are pleased to let you know that our Greggs Breakfast Club will continue to run each morning before school. We are incredibly grateful to Greggs for their kind donation, which allows us to provide toast to children free of charge as part of this club. In addition to this, toast will also be available for all children to purchase at morning break. The cost will be £1 per week payable on Arbor we are unable to take cash for the toast from 9th June.
