BREAKING NEWS

NURSEY PLACES AVAILABLE - FLEXIBLE HOURS- ½ DAYs  or  FULL DAYS .

Your child can stay for 5 mornings and the afternoons, if requested. Or you can do a mix of full days- we can be flexible to suit your needs. Please contact the school office. 01744 678730

COMING SOON-

After the Whit holiday- AFTER SCHOOL CLUB!   3.15pm- 5.45pm.  School will be offering an after-school clubs every night for children.  There will be a wide range of activities available e.g.- film and popcorn nights; art activities; sport events. Cost will be £8 and include a light snack for your child.  Please enquire at the office for more details.

Start of the Day

A reminder – school starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.15pm. The children must be in their classroom at 8.45am.

Attendance

What YOU must do:

Try to telephone the school before 8.30am each day of your child’s absence.

Tell the school in advance, of any medical appointments and bring in appointment cards/letters.

If you are not sure whether your child is well enough to attend school, send them in anyway as they often perk up on arrival.

Have a backup plan for if your child misses transport, call on a family member, neighbour or friend.If you and your child are experiencing difficulties with school attendance then talk to us as a first step so we can helps

What WE will do:

Check your child’s attendance every day.

Send messages to check on your child in their absence.

Phone home to discuss your child’s attendance with you. Invite you into school for attendance meetings if we are concerned.

If we cannot establish a reason for absence, then we may make a welfare home visit

Arbor

Details on how to set up your Arbor account have been emailed More information will follow, and you will receive details on how to log onto the platform. This will be sent out to you next week. If you need any support regarding Arbor please contact the office.

Parking Around School

Please park responsibly, giving consideration to others. The PCO’s will be in attendance at some drop off and pick up times to encourage everyone to park safely.

Year 6 SATS- Monday 12th May

Year 6 will be sitting their SATS test this week. We are so proud of how hard they have worked this year and I know they will do their best. Thank you to all the staff and parents for supporting the school with this preparation.
