Breakfast Club

With the increase in the cost of living affecting everyone unfortunately we need to increase the cost of your child coming to Breakfast Club. From January 2024 the cost will increase to £5 per child, per session.

Parking

Could you please park responsibly around school, not blocking any driveways or parking on the yellow zig zags at the school entrance.

Absence from School

If your child is absent from school for any reason would you please ring the school office to report the absence. For safeguarding purposes it is very important that school know the reason for the absence.

Reception Parent’s Appointments Wednesday 29/11/23

Miss Haslam is sending a letter home today and offering various slots throughout the day for you to come and chat about how your child has settled into school life. Please complete the slip and return on Monday if you would like a slot.

If Wednesday is not convenient another time can be arranged.

Welcome to Willow Tree Primary School Parliament.

Each year, pupils are elected by their classmates to represent the views and ideas of all pupils.

The School Parliament meets once every half term, to discuss issues or ideas and ways in which they can improve or help with fundraising or events.

MPs will be responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed, such as, what to spend fundraising money on or planning new playground activities, improving the rewards across school and numerous other events.

Being a School MP is a very important job!

What is School Parliament for?

  • The school parliament will focus on
  • Working and Learning together
  • Learning about democracy
  • Learning how to play a positive role model in our community
  • Improving school for everyone

The School Parliaments job is to involve everyone in decision making by finding things they would like to change, finding ways to make things better and putting their ideas into action. To do this they must ask for permission, raise funds and have the time and support from our school family.

Congratulations to the following children who were elected by their peers.
