Sports Day

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the sport's day events and it was a pleasure to watch every single child putting their heart and soul into the races. The sportsmanship was outstanding and the children made us so proud. Thank you to all of the parents who came along to watch the children's Sport's Day event, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. Well done everyone!

Road Safety

If your child travels to school on a scooter/bicycle, please remind them about the need for road safety. School has received a number of reports that some of our pupils are crossing busy roads without looking and not using the crossings. Thank you for helping to keep our children safe.

Y6 Netball

Congratulations to our Y6 netball team who took on 19 other local schools and made it to the semi-finals. They finished in 3rd place overall. Well done!

Welcome to our new arrivals in EYFS

The children have been so excited to welcome the pheasant chicks that have started to hatch.

We now have 8 chirpy chicks and 8 more eggs in the incubator.

Relationships and Sex Education

As part of our science and health education, the children will be having a series of lessons on relationships education. If you do not wish your child to take part in these lessons, please contact your child’s teacher.

Sword Fencing Club new start date

Miss Haunch will be starting this club up again for year 6 after half term. It will be on a Monday, starting 19th June 3.15pm – 4pm

Children With Additional Needs

One of the school’s key aims is to be inclusive to all children and children with additional needs and disabilities. School offers a drop -in after school session for parents on Thursdays 3.30pm with Miss Haslam (the school SENDCo) to offer support and advice on children with additional needs.

Breakfast Club

Can you please ensure that you book your children on breakfast club using the Parentpay app. We need to plan in staffing and food requirements.

Health and Safety

Dogs

This is a polite reminder that for health and safety reasons, dogs and puppies are not allowed onto the school premises. This includes when they are being carried. Thank you.

Parking

Parking on the yellow zig-zag markings outside of school is strictly prohibited and is breaking the law. This will be closely monitored by our CTV system. This is to ensure the safety of our pupils when crossing Willow Tree Avenue.
