Spirit of Willow Tree Awards Evening

We held the first Willow Tree Awards evening on Wednesday 6th July. The children had a great evening and we all enjoyed celebrating their achievements. It was lovely to see the children and adults all dressed up and was a real family celebration.

Sports day

The children had a fantastic sports day on Monday, they all displayed great sportsmanship and clearly really enjoyed themselves.

Ofsted Inspection

It has been such a busy week in school, Ofsted inspectors were in school Tuesday and Wednesday. The inspectors interviewed some of the children who were mature, polite and very well behaved. We are all very proud of them. Whilst we have not received the full report we are unable to share information at this point but will at a later date.

Uniform Sale

On Tuesday 19th July, 3pm to 3.45pm we will be holding a pre-loved uniform sale to enable parents to purchase uniform at low cost (50p per item) All proceeds will go straight back into the school for our children. All children will be allowed to wear their own clothes on Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th July providing they donate their unwanted uniform. All uniform and PE kit must be washed and in good condition. This will help families to purchase uniform for September without causing them financial difficulties.

ParentPay

Thank you to all the parents who have activated their ParentPay account. We are hoping to get 100 percent of parents with an account, but the current figure is 94 percent. Could the remaining accounts be activated please as soon as possible? Communication from school will be sent out via this site and you could miss relevant information if you have not activated the account. If you are having any problems, please call into the office.

Absence from School

If your child is unable to attend school for any reason could you please let school know as soon as possible. If we have not received a call the procedure is a text from school, followed up by a phone call and possibly a home visit. Thank you.
