Local Study Week

All the classes have been focussing on studying the local area this week. St. Helens has a great local history and the children have been learning about glass making and mining and the Rainhill Rocket.

Trips

Reception class had a lovely trip at Blackpool Sealife Centre and Lifeboat station. We are so proud to hear that their behaviour was fantastic.

Year 1 and Year 2 went to Underwater Street experience centre as well this week. They carried out experiments, dressed up and found out lots of interesting facts.

Sports Day

We are looking forward to welcoming you all at our Sports Day on Monday 27th June. There will be stalls and a bouncy castle after the sports, which we hope you will stay for

PGL Meeting For Parents

There will be a meeting for parents on Thursday 23rd June at 3.30pm for children going on the Year 6 PGL residential.

ParentPay

Thank you to all the parents who have activated their ParentPay account. We are hoping to get 100 percent of parents with an account, but the current figure is 94 percent. Could the remaining accounts be activated please as soon as possible? Communication from school will be sent out via this site and you could miss relevant information if you have not activated the account. If you are having any problems, please call into the office.

Scouts Summer Fayre

The scouts are holding a summer fayre on Saturday 25th June, 10.30 to 4, at their HQs on New Street.
