I must start the week with saying ‘congratulations’ to the Y3/4 Gymnastics team, who represented our school this week. We won the award for the best routine and were excellent ambassadors for the school. We are so proud of them!

Some children form Y4 went to York and had a fabulous time, visiting the York Minster and railway museum. They walked around the walls and didn’t complain a bit!! They have never walked so much!  The children who didn’t go were equally well behaved.

Thank you for all the parents who were able to come to meet their child’s teacher this week. The children love to share their work with you and I strongly believe all children achieve their best when people who care work together. If you were unable to attend, please make contact with your child’s teacher or call at the office to re-arrange an appointment.

Pupil absence

If your child is unable to attend school for any reason we would appreciate it if you could ring the school office as soon as possible to report the absence. If we have not received notification regarding the absence this is a potential safeguarding issue and it will be followed it up with a text, then a phone call and possibly a home visit.
