Dear Parents & Carers,

Update from Mr Perkins

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a lovely half term, and you had the opportunity to spend some quality time together.  Next week, we will be holding our virtual Parents Evening.  Your child’s teacher will be contacting you with your appointment date and time, if this is not convenient please let us know. Apologies for the short, tight turnaround.

As we move into the Winter months and Coronavirus has more opportunity to spread more easily, I would encourage you to wear a mask or maintain social distance on the playground.  This will hopefully be able to keep any potential for the virus to spread to a minimum.  Thank you.

This week, Year 6 have been off to Tatton Park to enhance their learning about their current topic.  What a lovely sunny - but cold - day it was, and I have heard many stories about how exciting it was.  We are trying where possible to introduce trips back into the curriculum wherever we can as safely as we can.

I will be sending out a separate letter regarding Christmas activities next week so that you can put the dates in your diary.  Please look out for this as it will contain other important information about when decisions will be taken as to whether the events planned can go ahead.

Next week, we will be holding a short assembly on Thursday 11th November to respect, honour and remember anyone who has given their life for our country.  We will be respecting the 2 minute silence at 11am.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
