Dear Parents & Carers,

Update from Mr Perkins

Hello everyone!  It was lovely to hold our first whole community assembly this morning as Year 4 led us beautifully in our Harvest celebration.  After such a long time without the opportunity, it was lovely to give the children the chance to perform, sing and share together this important festival to mark the beginning of harvest.  Well done to all our Year 4 children and Mr Allinson for putting it all together.  We will be having other assemblies led by different classes throughout the rest of the school year and we will send announcements out closer to the time.

We are also able to take our children to inter school sports competitions.  Late last week, our Year 4 boys went to compete against other St Helens schools in football and I accompanied our Year 3 boys on Monday this week to compete in another football tournament.  Our Year 4 team performed exceptionally well and displayed excellent sportsmanship as did our Year 3 team.  Our Year 3 team worked well as a team and they won their competition!  Congratulations to all involved!  Thank you as well to Miss Holdsworth for organising and Mr Geraghty for accompanying the children as well.

We are very nearly at half term which is next Friday.  It has flown by so far this year!  Have a lovely weekend!
