Dear Parents & Carers,

Update from Mr Perkins

Another week has flown by.  It's hard to believe it's been two weeks since the children returned so excited to come back to school and their friends.  The children have settled back into their school life well overall although some are getting a little tired by the end of the afternoon!  It is fantastic to see the children back to enjoying their day with their friends and teachers learning new and exciting things.

Today marks another unusual way of celebrating Red Nose Day.  It was amazing to see through my window in my morning meeting how awash with red the playground was and thank you as always for supporting this fabulous charity event. We have raised £191.59 - thank you all for your efforts!

We have a couple of Easter events coming up in a couple of weeks - Easter Tombola and bingo - which I am looking forward to as well as a full week of Science in the final week of term.  Some exciting events coming up to finish the term!  We will report back on our events and keep an eye on our social media for updates!

Thank you as always for supporting our safety measures during this short period to Easter including mask wearing and keeping a safe distance and sticking carefully to your drop off/pick up times.

It looks like a dry weekend so enjoy and see everyone back in school on Monday!

Science Week - Week Beginning 29Th March

In preparation for Science week, we will be taking part in a great eggsperiment. This will involve researching a scientist and designing a system to protect an egg from a great fall. As part of the eggsperiment, we would like you to send in resources such as small boxes, cartons, tissue paper, bubble wrap to protect the egg. All these items can be recycled packaging, but they must be clean and be in school by 26th March in order for them to be placed in quarantine for 2 days. Please send them into school in a bag clearly marked with their name.
