Nursery Newsletter 10th January 2020
Willow Tree Nursery Class Newsletter
10th January 2020
What a lovely first week back to Nursery. Our children have come back ready to learn and our new friends have settled in beautifully What a credit they are to you all.
We are very excited to announce that we have been given an extra PE session every week, and we will be welcoming in a special Sports Instructor to work with us for these sessions. PE will now be on Wednesdays and Fridays! It is helpful on these days if your child is not wearing tights as they can be difficult to take off and put on for our little ones.
With this additional PE session we do not want the children to miss out on any of the rich experiences we give to the children. Therefore, we will now run the story of the week over two weeks.
This week and next the Story we are exploring is The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
If anyone happens to have a small goat tucked away anywhere that you fancy bringing on a jolly jaunt to nursery you would be more than welcome.
To give your £1 per week (£6 per half term) snack money into the office please.
Water only in bottles please. It’s better for teeth and doesn’t become sticky and attract insects when spilt.
Also please provide your Child with a change of clothes labelled clearly in a bag on their peg. Children learn best when they are physically comfortable.
If you haven’t provided your child with a pair of wellington boots please do so asap. The boots make sure your child is able to explore comfortably and safely regardless of the weather, includes them in the routine of getting ready for outdoors independently, and ensures the learning indoor environment stays in good condition for the children.
