Foil Fencing
At Willow Tree Primary, we like to offer children access to sports that are a little more unique. School employs a qualified Sword Fencing Coach to deliver the British Fencing Association program for French Foil.
Our children are provided with all the appropriate safety equipment and the sword used are real. They learn sword craft, the technicalities of the sport, fencing etiquette and the history of blade weaponry.
At the end of their program they may take the BFA Assessments resulting in certification and awards.
